POA KIDS  is helping equip kids to know God & grow in God. We meet each Wednesday night at 7:00 pm and Sunday morning at 9:30 am in the POA Kids Wing (located upstairs in the GAMC).   Wednesday nights are for children in Pre-K thru 5th grade, and Sunday mornings are for children in grades K thru 5.

The POA KIDS staff is led by Chris Hebron, and features a team of workers excited about children's ministry and dedicated to investing in our children.

POA KIDS employs a comprehensive program that focuses on reinforcing simple Biblical principles and presenting ideas in kid-friendly ways that are easy to understand and remember. Wednesday night Worship Services, held in POA Kids Grand Central (children’s sanctuary), are musical, media-driven, and creative, featuring high-energy praise songs, worship, skits, puppets, the Key Message, and much more. Children are able to share their prayer requests or praise reports via their Letters To God , which they pray over as a group. They also learn the Key Verse, a Bible verse that accompanies the series theme in POA Kids.

Sunday mornings begin with a short Worship Service in Kids Grand Central, then the grades are escorted to different class rooms to learn the lessons that go along with the series theme. They’ll venture one Sunday into The Pier, then maybe onto The Train or even make a craft in The Garage. Some Sunday, they’ll enjoy the lesson brought to them by the adventurous, fun, exciting & ever-learning Treehouse Club. Another Sunday, they may go back in time to Bible days to see a miracle take place or hear a message taught by a hero from the Bible. The kids are rotated each Sunday to a different class so they’re able to enjoy the lesson taught in a different way…but just for them. There’s so much more going on, but you’ll have to drop by & see all that’s happening in POA Kids!!

If you have children in Pre-K-through the 5th grade, please make sure they don't miss out on POA KIDS each Wednesday night! Doors open at 6:30 pm. Doors open on Sunday morning at 9:15 am for kids in Kindergarten thru 5th grade. All children should enter through the rear entrance of the Family Life Center. From there, they continue to the check-in station where children will receive their name badge, necessary for their entrance to the POA Kids Wing upstairs (a sky bridge connects the Family Life Center to the POA Kids Wing, which is located upstairs in the G. A. Mangun Center). For the safety of our children, all adults are required to stop by the check-in station and receive a ‘Visitor’ badge before crossing over to the POA Kids Wing.  Thank you for your cooperation as we work to ensure the safety of our POA Kids!

We can’t wait to see your child in POA Kids!! He/She will love it!
